I just finished editing content for our 1/2016 edition. While I was working on final copy, this song kept playing at the back of my mind like a sad refrain…I have yet to come up with the title of our cover story. However, I think this is our theme song for this edition. Its’ so sad.

And yes, I have now great respect for people in the government who manage to get anything done – push the paper all the way through to build roads, schools, hospitals - the works. It takes hundreds of engineers to change a single light bulb in this joint. People who can do all that are my heroes. I salute you. You must be relentless, tireless and have a lot of tolerance for putting up with loads of BS and still plowing through all that nonsense to come on the other side.

The so-called tailors in this town don’t seem to understand that cutting fabric patterns is like applied geometry, men’s cuts are straight lines and angles while women’s cuts are soft curves and angles – to get the measurements right – you need the ‘x’ and ‘y’ coordinates of any given point of measurement!
