“Rain, Rain come again, come again some other day. Little Johnny wants to play’…. But no, in our land the rhyme goes something like this; “Rain, Rain come again, go away, some other day. Big Boy Johnny wants to play.’ And why not?


We live in the 21st century where everything is supposed to be easy – technology driven; au contraire. Rate of loadshedding has risen thrice in past six months, inflation is at the peak of madness and along comes the monsoon; roads flood with water, sewerage pipes leak, electric wires fall and with almost ten hours of load shedding in this heat the only bliss we have is a swim in the canal or shower in the rain.


Our photographer at Valuemag is out on a new mission. With the camera in his hand Shahji hunts down candid moments capturing any exciting expression he feels is worth sharing. Each picture is at least worth a thousand words! Enjoy!

Versatile and adaptable with international exposure, communication and language skills (oral and written), and a consistent track record of achieving company targets and objectives, plus a MA in Political Science from Punjab University, a MSc in Economics from La Salle University, Louisiana, USA, and a BA in Economics from Kinnaird College for Women.
