This Sunday (Feb 3, 2013), we decided to explore Liberty stores – not all stores are open though, on Sunday.

ENEM Stores

Yes, they do stock complete size ranges, branded products like Marks and Spencer and Zara but the price points are crazy. We found three basic women’s long sleeve button-down cardigans; 100 percent cashmere; one in basic black, one in basic navy and one in grey, however, even on sale, these were selling for 52K! The product was from Marks and Spencer-(obviously, original price for the three assorted sweaters – more than hundred thousand rupees which had been discounted 20 percent). By the way, not even sure if its original, counterfeit or b-stock, your guess is as good as mine. However, no retail store sells their product wholesale to another store if this particular store has not purchased their franchise first, so in other words, the M&S products are definitely not original – either, these have been purchased from factory out let stores dotted all over Asia like China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh or direct from factories that produce their A-quality via the stock lot dealers.

If you look up the retail price on Marks and – for basic long sleeve crew neck button down cardigan; 100 percent cashmere in black color way, it’s being retailed at 79 pounds which is at full price in UK. So if you have relatives in UK, middle east or Hong Kong, it would be cheaper to purchase products from their store full price and or alternatively, purchase them on line and pay for freight than purchasing it in Pakistan on sale! Go figure…

Stylo Shoes

We found promising flat moccasins in patent leather – both of us bought one pair each for PKR 760 per unit. Again, this was cheaper than buying counterfeit product from Zaka Pharmacy. They are selling counterfeit Hermes moccasins in candy colors for PKR 1700 per unit. I am still looking for deck shoes and ballet flats. Still haven’t found a single pair yet. Though, there were a couple of bling bling ballet flat options for PKR 1200 plus at Zaka which I liked but didn’t buy…

There are loads of fabric options but unfortunately, we could only find one black on black embroidered option – only the top would cost more than 2.5K or more…
