It’s hot. In such weather, you tend to get cravings for something cool like iced mineral water or iced cola or iced fruit juice or ice cream.

You can create your own version of baked Alaska at home: it doesn’t cost as much as it would in a restaurant, though it can be equally delicious if not more so and best of all, you can serve as many portions as you want.

Vanilla ice cream – 1-2 liters (any brand of your choice)

Chocolate Brownie (again, as many squares as you like from a brand of your choice) – we usually manage with one, thinly slicing them for individual portions

Hershey’s Chocolate sundae syrup

How to make Baked Alaska

Slice the brownie (s) into smaller squares or slices

Take a couple of slices of brownie, add two to three scoops of vanilla ice cream, add the chocolate syrup on top and voila! It’s ready to serve – enjoy!
